Well, I’ve finally done it. I’ve started a blog that isn’t shrouded in trying to look professional like the old TCassDesign one was. Here is where you will get to know me better by way of some musings, thoughts, rants, whatever. You’ll also experience one man trying to get his head around this blogging stuff, specifically this WordPress stuff, and watch me grow as a blogger, firsthand. Exciting, right?

I really want to know what makes this WordPress stuff tick, and all the cool stuff I can do with it, because, if you don’t know me, or haven’t noticed, that’s what makes me tick. It’s why I modify cars, computers, anything that I spent my money on, to make it do something others didn’t know it could, and most importantly, make it mine.

Like right now I’ve discovered this fullscreen mode in WordPress, and it’s absolutely beautiful. When you first enter it, you see this:

Which doesn’t even necessarily look that exciting. But then you start to type, and everything goes away. All distractions, doodads, and distinctly-designed (I was reaching for that alliteration) stuff just disappears. It even leaves a slight prod to “Just write…” before that fades away into the beauty. All that’s left is this great font, and your thoughts. It looks like this:

Great, right? I can see myself really tearing through some articles in this mode once our magazines finally make the transition to WordPress. It truly does inspire you to “Just write…” In short, I love it.

These are the random thoughts you will find here. If you’re into finding quirky features in things, and applications on how to use them, I’m your man.
